Tips For Cancer Survivors ?Â
On September 30, 2013, my dad finished his journey here on this planet.
After being diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer, he decided against any form of medical treatment, he wanted to enjoy the time he had left and he did. He passed in less than a year of his diagnosis and we all miss still him!
Current stats say 1.7 million+ people are diagnosed with and 600+ people die from cancer each year. What is causing all this cancer? No one seems to have an answer or a cure that we know of. The current treatments available make some people sicker before they can even get better and some lose their battles altogether.
Here are a few basic tips for anyone surviving or fighting cancer or any other disease or illness. As always, check with your doctor before doing any of the things listed below.
#EATHEALTHY – Avoid foods and drinks that weaken the body’s immune system or makes it susceptible to illness or disease. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, beans, and good fats are best!
#DRINKWATER – Drink lots of water! Alkaline water is great to reduce acidity in the body, but consult with your doctor or pharmacist since it may affect certain medications.
#REGULAREXERCISE – Working out regularly keeps everything in the body moving and flowing and helps to eliminate harmful toxins out of the body.
#SUPPORTSYSTEM – Remove all stress, toxic chemicals, places, things and people from your life and build a strong support system around you that promotes healing.
#PRACTICINGMEDICINE – Get great doctors and specialists and explore homeopathic treatments in conjunction with traditional medicine.
